Breakfast Room

On the shelves in the Breakfast room you will find an assortment of guide books, maps, history books and information about the Lake District and beyond, for you to make use of during your stay at Bamford.

There are also other books written by people with a local connection, such as the Herries Chronicles by Hugh Walpole, who lived by the side of Derwentwater. To help pass a quiet afternoon or evening there are games and some novels and detective stories.

On the shelves you will find information about places to eat out. There are also take-away menus. You are welcome to bring the food back to eat in the Breakfast Room, there is crockery and cutlery for you to use on the shelves and a bin for the rubbish.
