Keswick

If you are new to Keswick or only have one day to enjoy your time here a good way to spend that day is to leave the car here at Bamford and walk up into town. Go through the market square past the Moot Hall, and take the right hand road at the top of the square. Turn right at George Fisher and then through the underpass to Hope Park. Walk past the Theatre by the Lake and on to the lakeside. What a view!

If you haven’t been tempted too long by the shops, restaurants and attractions that you have passed and you still have 50 minutes left for relaxation, take a trip round the lake on one of the classic Launches.
